Job Overview Pilkington Construction Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant with a focus on A/P, A/R, and financial reporting. This role plays a vital part in supporting our Construction project teams by managing invoices, financial tracking, and reporting functions. While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, we're open to teaching our internal systems to the right motivated candidate. Learn more at . Key Responsibilities - Perform general administrative duties related to accounting and billing
- Maintain vendor tax documents and up-to-date Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- Manage petty cash, credit card entries, and internal fuel expense tracking
- Audit job costing reports and assist in job closeout processes
- Track job payments and billing activity in accounting software
- Communicate with project managers and clients regarding billing matters
Required Qualifications - Prior experience in an accounting, billing, or administrative support role (construction industry preferred)
- Familiarity with and/or ability to learn Sage 100 Contractor and Procore software
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Spanish-speaking a plus
- Arizona Notary Public is a plus
