Headfarmer is seeking an Assistant Controller who is interested in working with a P/E back company that has grown dramatically the last few years and established a respected business practice in their industry space.

In this capacity, you will lead a strong accounting team and develop cross functional relationship with internal customers (Operations, FP&A, Site locations, C-Suite), and streamline the month-end close process and financial reporting.

What you will do:

• Lead the month-end close process start to finish
• Support process improvement initiatives to build enhancements to systems and methodologies
• Lead monthly financial reporting and lender reporting package
• Collaborate and build trust relationships with other internal departments
• Supervise and develop corporate accounting team
• Primary point of contact for external audit

What you will have:

• Bachelor’s in accounting
• Experience leading the month end close for a medium to large company.
• Technical GAAP knowledge with ASC 606, 842, 810 and 805
• Leadership and cross functional relationship building skills
• Preference for CPA or pursuing
• Multi-entity experience a plus
• Public Accounting experience desirable
• Strong knowledge of the relationship between the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
