Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) 13-Week Assignment in Albuquerque, NM

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Weekly Pay: $1400 - $1540

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions to create effective treatment plans
Provide therapy to improve motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Utilize therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology to enhance patient outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for continued progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

Education: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
License: Active New Mexico OT license (or eligibility)
Experience: 1+ year of occupational therapy experience
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Travel & Local Considerations:

Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
