• Reliable trasportation to get to work and a valid and unsurable driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• The ability to meet the physical demand of the position, including repetitive "push/pull" movements with heavy extraction equipment and moving/lifting at least 50 lbs.
• The ability to meet customer needs and "wowing" them with education on our services and spectacular customer service (you do not need to generate your own leads).

What being a Carpet Technician looks like

• As a carpet cleaning technician, you would be assigned a cleaning route each day with 3-5 jobs to perform. You would help to ensure our customers have a great experience, assist in operating carpet cleaning equipment, driving company vehicles, and helping fill out end-of-day and job paperwork.
• In addition to carpet cleaning, you will be trained on how to professionally clean rugs, natural stone, tile, upholstery, glass, and hardwood.
• We cover homes in Utah County, Salt Lake County, Tooele, Heber, and Park City. On an average day, each route consists of 3 - 5 appointments depending on the size and location.
• We offer 4 day work weeks and are happy to work around days off needed for school schedules. An average shift is 10 hours from 7:30 - 5:30.

This is an entry-level position with lots of opportunities for internal promotions.

Each employee is given 3 weeks of training to ensure they are comfortable and confident to work unsupervised. Training is paid at $16 per hour. After training is complete, the rate jumps up to $18 per hour. Additional opportunities for bonus pay, commission, and tips. The average hourly rate is $25 per hour.

This job requires the ability to stand for long periods of time as well as the ability to regularly lift, push, or pull 35-50 pounds. This position also requires background checks and drug screenings. You must be 18 years of age or older as well as possess a valid and insurable driver's license.
