Position: Copywriter Location: Hybrid or Remote 2 days on-site in Marlborough MA Rate: Negotiable Based on Experience Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire Position Description: - Write, edit, and manage original and curated medical/disease focused copy for a variety of digital channels including websites, landing pages, digital ads, paid search, email, social channels, webcasts and more
- Create compelling content targeted to our various audiences including physicians, surgeons, clinical and non-clinical administrators, infection preventionists, nurses
- Generate ideas - independently and with team members to turn scientific/medical information and data into engaging content (e.g., whitepapers, infographics, videos) that meets business objectives and KPIs including peer-to-peer engagement and lead generation.
- Participate and/or lead content workshops including customer journey mapping exercises, user flows and IA discussions, user testing plans and A/B testing strategies.
- Engage team members as a content development expert, working with account managers, strategists, and designers to bring your content vision to life, to drive the business objectives
- Read and review digital content produced by other team members to ensure writing style and tone of voice is consistent and aligned to the audience segment and delivery channel.
- Translate existing content into new content opportunities across digital channels
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the content strategy, content development process and search engine optimization strategies, and lead improvements.
Required Skills : - 3+ years of digital writing experience preferably in a regulated pharma, biotech, or healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, Journalism, Sciences or similar. Masters Degree a plus.
- Experience driving content projects from conception through production and optimization
- Excellent research skills specifically in the areas of anatomy, disease states, procedures and treatments, clinical research, and clinical data.
- Strong understanding of search engine optimization and user experience.
- Independent, self-started that can manage time and projects effectively to meet deliverable dates. Previous experience with Trello, InVision a plus.
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
