The Data Analytics Specialist will collaborate with the Systems & Data team to develop comprehensive action plans, including the collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization of data. The Specialist will share actionable insights with decision-makers, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Planning, NPI, Operations, and Quality Control to ensure alignment between schedules, demand, and supply constraints. Additionally, they will lead root cause analysis to resolve scheduling issues and implement corrective actions. Proficiency in analytics tools and software is essential for generating insights, improving scheduling processes, and ensuring production targets are met with precision and timeliness. This position is part of our Production Scheduling team, based onsite in Normal, IL, and reports to the Senior Manager of Production Scheduling.

• Develop metrics to track shop adherence to plan versus actual schedules
• Clearly write, train and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics needed to track aging orders, downtime, fallout, and material availability
• Write, train and obtain training metrics for the team
• Maintains Build Sequence rules (ex: spacing, batch painting, option leveling to improve assembly productivity)
• Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
• Improve and scale data operations.
• Interpret business requirements and perform analysis to support strategic and tactical objectives
• Create ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders to support strategic and tactical initiatives
• Develop, manage, and maintain data, KPIs and processes for Production Control ensuring reliability, integrity, and accuracy of data
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve data collection processes
• Build, test, integrate and release complex mission critical applications serving all phases of the manufacturing process
• Automate non-value-added tasks and data collection for
• Support systems, dashboard, custom solution testing implementations and enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data & dashboard support and integration

• 3+ Years SAP and MES Experience preferred 
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or 5+ years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing Production Scheduling
• Experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling and Data Management required
• Experience with data visualization tools or platforms Tableau, Smartsheet, Lucid chart
• Knowledge of Data Lake technologies specifically Redshift
• Experience in a language for statistical computing
• Experience integrating and building solutions with SQL, Python
• Strong computer and business solutions software skills
• High level of analytical and administrative skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail high concern for quality of information
• Ability to plan and operate with minimum supervision
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Proactive, organized, and able to work cooperatively in a team
• Ability to work individually and with a team
