Location: Louisville, KY (Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description Engineer with knowledge in LAN/WAN/Wireless/Cabling/Tracing, Carrier installs, configure, troubleshoot Network devices( L1/L1.5 level ), Storage/Compute basics. Doing basic configuration to provide remote access to team in India. Fiber testing, Port identification and Fiber tracing. Providing hands and feet support for Network/Compute/Storage Devices in client locations. Inventory management of the devices instore and in Datacenter / MDF rooms. Excellent communication skills in-order to manage customer communications effectively. Willing to work in nights / Weekends only during changes. Supporting as on-call for Night/weekends incase of Major incidents apart from regular shifts. OEM Vendor escort and accompaniment in data centers /MDF's for maintenance and troubleshooting Help physical reboot of the server, storage and network devices as needed as a part of troubleshooting during critical issues as guided by technical teams Move hardware/parts from holding areas to data centers and handover to OEM vendor for installation/replacement and move decommissioned devices to Ewaste cage.
