Job Description

Job Summary: Middletown Chevrolet is seeking a reliable and experienced Dealer Trade Driver to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. As a Dealer Trade Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles between our dealership and other dealerships in the local area. This is a contractor position in the auto industry and will require an individual who is able to work independently and provide excellent customer service. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport vehicles between Middletown Chevrolet and other dealerships in the local area
• Inspect vehicles before and after transportation to ensure they are in good condition
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with dealership staff and customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicles during transportation
• Report any issues or concerns promptly to the dealership

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous experience in automotive transportation preferred
• Familiarity with local roads and highways
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
