Position Description
You will work with the backend team to analyze requirements, identify bottlenecks and improve the performance of several systems.
If you love solving interesting infrastructure challenges and you enjoy interactive, agile development process then we want you. In this highly technical role you will be the key part of our Development team in Greece, you will deal with complex challenges and help Schoox deliver its innovative product to our millions of users.
Qualified candidates will have to be talented engineers, possess a deep understanding of system engineering and have a strong comfort level working within an extremely fast-paced start-up environment.
Responsibilities may significantly increase depending on the candidate.
Responsibilities:
Operate and deploy cloud services from development to production
Develop tools and automations to make operations and deployments simpler and more robust.
Monitor and improve the performance of our systems.
Troubleshoot issues, do capacity planning, and analyze system performance.
The ideal candidate exhibits the following qualities:
Experience - You have at least 3 years experience at a similar position and on performance and scalability of web applications.
Technical skills - Software development, you are very familiar with AWS, Linux system administration and scripting, Infrastructure automation and Continuous integration, including Jenkins.
English Language - You should be good in English. A CPE certificate will be appreciated.
Academic Qualifications - You have a University degree.
