**Dump Truck Driver**

We are a family of companies including several divisions and owned subsidiaries that focus on asphalt, concrete, sports, and microsurfacing. We work on projects ranging from small asphalt repairs to large commercial construction projects. Byrne & Jones Construction can handle everything outside of the building -- no job is too big or too small.
We are searching for a commercial driver. We self-perform all our work, meaning that if you are hired, you will play a key role in our building success. Our construction workers take great pride in knowing that the work we do is helping to build communities - one project at a time.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are NOT limited to:
- Safely drives dump truck to destinations applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and of roads in the area. Delivering rock and/or asphalt to our project sites and crews.
- Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle and trailer in order to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or non-working parts.
- Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
- Communicates regularly with operations manager to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly.
- Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified by company policy.
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
Job Qualifications
Requirements include but are NOT limited to:
- Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License and good driving history is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be physically able to operate, move about, and maintain a dump truck.
- Must pass, or have recently passed DOT physical.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
