Job Overview:
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) is responsible for services, within their scope of practice, for support of LA Emergency Management Response on-site for rapid deployments to support emergency and disaster efforts. This is a temporary position, and the length of the assignment may vary based on operational needs and client requirements

Labor Rates: The following rates include labor wages, lodging, per diem, and travel. The labor rate is inclusive of straight time and overtime.
EMT-Basic $34.00
Each applicant interested in supporting in Louisiana will need deployment and arrive at the designed site within 24 - 48 hours from the time of notice. Each applicant will need to complete their onboarding packet. It is uncertain as to the locations where personnel will be needed but will be located at a staging area established by the Department of Children and Family Services Deployments or other agencies in various regions of the state.
