Job Description

Murray Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) seeks a Front Desk Secretary for West Kentucky Surgical, located within the hospital. This position requires the ability to multi-task while taking care of patient calls, scheduling, checking patients in, and performing various duties as assigned. The Secretary is responsible for verifying information and answering questions while being courteous, and is accountable for the confidentiality of the patient and MCCH when handling medical record information.The Secretary supports the mission, strategies and objectives of West Kentucky Surgical and MCCH. This person must be a positive presence, who's teamwork oriented, and has a strong work ethic.

Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Work Experience: Previous clerical experience required. Experience in a physician practice preferred. Must be computer proficient.
