Key Responsibilities:

Interpretation Services: Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation in various settings, such as educational, medical, and professional environments.

Client Support: Ensure that individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing receive the necessary support for understanding and participating in conversations.
Confidentiality & Professionalism: Adhere to industry standards for confidentiality and professionalism, ensuring the integrity of the service you provide.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Certification: Active Alabama SLI License (3.0 EIPA and Written Exam required).
Experience: Previous experience in educational or professional interpreting is preferred, though we welcome candidates who are eager to make an impact.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), with a focus on providing precise and effective interpretation.
Remote Work: Must have a reliable internet connection, comfort with telecommunication tools, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
