This position is a non-telework position located in Castaic.
Incumbent will assist with providing coverage of the visitor’s center; give oral presentations and disseminates information of the State Water Project; and may participate in the Department's Outreach Program. Maintain order and enforces the rules and regulations of the State Park System. Independently evaluate and make decisions to expedite materials, confirming telephone orders, authorizing special delivery, and arranging for pick-up. Maintain inventory of brochures, assembling various outreach handouts and teacher packets. The Guide I will assist with mailings, visitors, and coordinating of tours.

Must possess a valid California Class C Driver’s License as travel throughout the State of California is required.

Proficient in the use of various computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications and be willing to learn new technological tools and to incorporate them in daily tasks; be reliable, punctual, and willing to work a fixed schedule.
