Located within walking distance of Nationwide Arena and the trendy Arena District, Hyatt Regency Columbus redefines the modern hotel experience. We offer 633 renovated guest rooms and spacious suites and 70,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. We are connected to the Greater Columbus Convention Center and steps to the Short North Arts District, ours is the hotel in which to meet and play in downtown Columbus.

Because we are looking for an  On-Call Banquet Server !

What does the ROLE entail?

• Familiar with guest service & teamwork in a fast-paced setting for plated functions, attractive buffet setup & presentation, and beverage breaks
• Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
• This position requires strong personalized and friendly customer service.
• On-Call Event Server requires a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.
• Hours are scheduled as needed, based on business demands.

Your EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Previous Event/Banquet experience in a large scale setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight repeatedly, up to 25 pounds
