The UMSJ Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute is located on the campus the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson. We are a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic that includes Physical and Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. Our staff work as a team in this unregulated outpatient office with a wonderful working environment. We offer free parking and a flexible schedule. We are part of the University of Maryland Rehab Network.
Full-time staff are eligible for a Clinical Advancement Model, and a Bonus plan.
Outpatient experience with Dry Needling certification preferred (OR willing to become DN certified -paid in full by the organization).

Job Description
Physical Therapist OUTPATIENT-full-time (40 hours)
Dry Needling certification preferred or willing to be certified
Outpatient experience preferred

* Performs direct physical therapy services to patients in accordance with generally accepted physical therapy standards, State of Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act, code of ethics, and departmental procedures.
* Records patient evaluations, re-evaluations and care provided in the medical record, in accordance with departmental documentation standards.
* Participates in performance improvement activities and suggests areas for improvement to colleagues in a tactful and considerate manner. Proposes performance improvement topics and alternate treatment techniques to improve physical therapy services.
* Assumes responsibility to resolve or report clinical and operational issues to department leadership for resolution, in order to assure high quality care, and efficient departmental operations.
* Demonstrates interdisciplinary, safe, patient centered care and delivers excellent customer service.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
* 1 year of relevant outpatient experience preferred.
* Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
* Current ACLS or BCLS certification
* Dry Needling Certified (preferred)
