REMOTE POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO CONDUCT ONGOING SERVICES & SUPERVISION

Maxima Therapy is looking for full-time or part-time, creative, and committed remote Physical Therapists to join our transdisciplinary therapy team comprised of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and child development specialists. The position entails a flexible work schedule, providing individual services to children ages birth to 3 years of age with varying delays remotely or at clients’ homes. We offer competitive rates starting from $55 per hour* and an excellent benefits package for eligible employees which includes: medical insurance, 401K, sick time, paid vacation, and a flexible schedule. We also offer several Continuing Education (CEU) opportunities.

Duties:

• 1:1 treatment in clients’ homes or daycare centers
• Provide parent education, training, and support
• Collaborate with other clinicians as needed/requested to ensure quality of care
• Develop treatment plans, take session notes, submit progress reports in a timely manner
• Supervisory opportunities to mentor PTAs
• Opportunities to conduct evaluations to establish the need for services

Minimum Requirements:

• California PT license
• Maintain CEU and licensure requirements
• Previous Pediatric treatment experience (for remote)
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license (for in-person)
• Proof of immunization records, CPR certification, and current, negative TB test (for in-person)
• Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented
• Multilingual speaking/reading/writing skills

Physical Requirements (for in-person):

• Therapy activities may require playing on the floor or settings where the furniture is child-sized
• Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required
• Sudden and quick movements may be required
• Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting,
• reaching above the head, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes
