Job Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant who is passionate about psychiatry to join our team in providing remote psychiatric care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Pennsylvania and have experience conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and delivering ongoing care to individuals with mental health disorders.

This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including comprehensive patient history and mental status examinations.
Diagnose mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, and develop effective treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and oversee ongoing treatment, including follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate closely with a supervising psychiatrist for chart reviews and consultations.
Educate patients about their psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and medication management to empower them in their care journey.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health system.
Participate in care coordination and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers as needed.
Qualifications:

Current Physician Assistant license in Pennsylvania (required).
NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health (preferred).
Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to interact effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms.
