Senior Consultant in our
Strategic Planning Service Line within our
Strategic & Transaction Services (STS) Program. This future teammate will have the opportunity to grow personally and professionally by establishing and maintaining deep relationships with colleagues and healthcare industry clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide innovative, executive level strategic and financial advisory services to healthcare and academic organizations (e.g., hospitals, health systems, clinically integrated provider networks, physician enterprises, medical schools)
- Manage multiple client engagements, produce the highest quality work products, and provide excellent customer service
- Actively contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including publishing articles
- Mentor and develop staff consultants
- Collaborate with PYA Consulting programs and service lines to support and deliver on new engagements
- Play an active role in the development of the Strategic & Transaction Solutions Program and the firm
QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of healthcare strategy consulting experience in a professional services firm and/or within a health system strategic planning/decision support department
- 2+ years client relationship experience
- Demonstrated innovative thinker, intellectual curiosity, problem solver
- Demonstrated acumen in market and financial analysis and translating data to information to recommendations
- Working understanding of the healthcare industry and its drivers (e.g., hospitals, physicians, payers, purchasers)
- Willingness and ability to travel for client projects and development opportunities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel tools and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team to develop solutions
- Passion for helping clients achieve success
- Demonstrated track record in project management and leadership
